LAZY ALES - LAZY OAF X WILD CARD BREWERY
As a part of our Spring 22 collection OAF PUB we wanted to create the taste of Oaf and brew up our very own beer, to cheers this new collection which pays homage to the Great British boozer. To turn this dream into a hoppy reality, we have worked with the North London based microbrewery, Wild Card, to create three delicious beers, each with their own unique flavour profile. We’re a huge fan of what Wild Card do. They’re a fellow female-led, independent brand, and their Head Brewer Jaega Wise takes a creative approach to craft beer making, with a clear commitment to working with artists and creatives - all of which is very up our alleyway. So we’re really excited to be launching this trio of beers, which UK shoppers can buy from Wild Card’s web shop .
Lazy’s *Eye* PA:
A bold, tropical New England IPA made with Cryo-Citra and experimental hop X033. Sourced from Oregon hop producers, Indie Hops, this variety matches the punchy tropics of the beer with laidback floral and grassy shades. The beer is brewed with pale malt, copious amounts of oats and Wild Card’s in-house yeast blend.
Snifter Pale Ale:
Our juicy pale ale, mashed in hot with pale malt and a blend of oats. Cryo-Citra is added in the whirlpool at the end of boil, then fermented with a specially selected yeast for a high gravity, sweet finish. It’s dry hopped with Cashmere, Mosaic, Cryo-Loral and Cryo-Cascade hops, making for a pine-forward and tropical flavour profile, with a spicy-sweet backbone.
Oaf Juice Berry Sour:
This is the collection’s berry juice-bomb. It’s a sour, salted, wheat beer made with raspberry, blackcurrant and sorrel. It’s tart and ruby red, and has subtle notes of hibiscus - one of head brewer Jaega’s favourite ingredients.
Lazy Oaf x Wild Card Brewery Beer Glass:
To round out the collab we’ve created a beer glass that’s perfectly palm sized for the optimum beer sipping experience. And it has a cute little face on, so there’s that.
